Ho Ho Ho!
You don't have to dig too deeply to help the Lions part this year...
Being a dedicated Lions supporter, you may have noticed that our beloved Father Christmas is looking a little tatty round the edges.
As he's so central to our wonderful Twelfth Night Festival, we've decided we need to 'refurb' him: new and fabulous costume is being hand-crafted for him as we write this.
You can see from the gorgeous painting of the design by Sonia Ritter, we're really going to town on it.
But - and you just knew there was a 'but' coming, didn't you? - such glory does come at a price! Which is where, we hope, you lovely Lions supporters come in.
- £10 buys a sleeve or his lace collar
- £20 helps to pay for his hose or his hat
- £50 is a large wodge of his doublet or a slice of the magnificent cloak
It would be wonderful if you felt able to help us 'build' Father Christmas; think of it like adopting an animal at the zoo or rebuilding the bionic man!
And with Father Christmas you can see him once a year, and actually touch him - unlike the animals at the zoo (and he won't bite you either...)
